Dental Implants:

Since 1994 our practice had taken the newest approach in tooth replacement.

When a tooth or teeth are lost we are now able to replace the root portion of the lost tooth with titanium implants. After adequate healing, we are able to attach the crown. Using this concept we can replace a single tooth, several teeth, anchor partial dentures or even full dentures. The last ones being the ones to receive the largest benefit since the toothless mouth offers no holding structures for their appliances.

Since 1998 we have placed hundreds of successful implants and restore them to give back the patient his function and his cosmetics.

Our office is one of the few in Florida that can actually do both the surgical and restorative part of the implant process under the same roof. Dr. Reyes will place the implant and then will restore it for complete control of the procedure.

Hundreds of implants are successfully placed and restored in our office each year. In 2004 Dr. Reyes was brought in as a Mentor for the state of Florida and other Latin American Countries where he is teaching implantology through the NobelBiocare Mentorship Program. He is helping dentists learn this new approach to teeth replacement and making available this wonderful service to more and more Americans.

In our office we use the NobelBiocare Systems, probably the largest and most comprehensive system in the world.

Even when the concept of trying to hammer wood and/or metal wedges into people’s jaws goes back to the times of Egypt and the mummies. It was not until recently that we have developed a reliable way of replacing teeth using this concept.

When a tooth or teeth are lost we are now able to replace the root portion of the lost tooth with a titanium implant. After a few weeks of healing then we are able to screw on top of that implant our tooth. Using this concept we can replace a single tooth, several teeth, anchor partial dentures or even full dentures. The last ones being the ones to receive the largest benefit since the edentulous mouth offers no attachment for their prosthesis.
